moving during the holidays

Moving is hard enough, and moving during the holidays is even harder. Trying to make new friends during this time of year is nearly impossible. Everyone is soooo busy! My kids and I were in desperate need of some interaction with others, so I decided to be brave (like my friend Katie once blogged about) and invite some moms and their kiddos over to decorate Christmas cupcakes. I invited some girls from my ward over and a neighbor. It was very messy, but just what we needed and so much fun! We've already made some really good friends here.

I think Tavin needed a few more sprinkles...what do you think?
