Easter

Easter weekend was a blast!!!!
Saturday morning our church had an Easter Egg hunt at Ontario Park. They had over 1600 eggs and when the kids were set loose it was over in a matter of minutes! Tavin didn't care about quantity, just quality. He loved the lady bug eggs and football egg.
Brett then took Tavin to his first baseball game ever...an Angels game. My brother-in-law, Randy and my niece, MaKayla went with them. They had a good time and ate PLENTY!

My sister Christi and I hung out with the rest of the kiddos and went shopping. We found all of our kids matching Easter outfits and made hairbows for the girls. It was a fun and busy day. We decorated eggs together too, but didn't get to them until 10pm.

Sunday morning Tavin woke up and saw that the Easter bunny had hidden the eggs he decorated and his basket. He seriously LOVED finding them! (Monday morning he woke up and said, "Eggs, where are you?")
We then went to church to celebrate the real reason for Easter!
After church we tried to get pictures of all the kids together, but Tavin was EXHAUSTED and in melt down mode. Watch as he slowly loses it throughout the photos...even being bribed with jelly beans.
It didn't start out so hot with the kids standing because Tavin immediately fell to the ground pouting. (The girls are looking at him.)

Instead of fighting it we had the girls sit down next to him. This is probably the best shot we got.

After just a few shots Tavin absolutely refused to take any more!

We tried turning him around again and putting Kirra in KaiLee's lap.

I decided to torture him a little more and get a family shot. Let's just say this is the best we got.

We had an awesome honey glazed ham and yummy potato dinner with my parents.
Dad sneaking some ham.

Look how cute my mom decorated the tables.

To top it all off my mom and dad had put together the cutest Easter egg hunt for our kids. My mom decorated buckets and they hid over 95 eggs in their yard. Each kid had 2 eggs just for them and inside were little things like "a trip to the park with Nana and Papa" or "ice cream with Nana and Papa." It was so sweet and thoughtful.

Before we all went home we watched a movie called Reflections of Christ (http://www.reflectionsofchrist.org/). I got it for Brett for Easter. It is such a powerful movie and the behind the scenes footage is absolutely amazing! If you haven't ever seen it-you should! It is so worth buying!
I truly am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ. He suffered and died for me, for all my sins, for all my sorrows. His resurrection is the greatest gift He could ever give. Through Him I know I will live with my family again after this life, FOREVER!

I absolutely love reflections of Christ. We've been stalking the director for the past year and have the book, the video, and are going to get the prints also. They are actually starting another one about Christ in the Americas as in the Book of Mormon. I'm so excited for it!
