I had to post this one before I forgot, esp. because I love the picture. Brett is working for a pest control company right now and went to go help someone with a termite problem a couple weeks ago. Basically they needed muscle help as they replaced the wood beams and supports. Brett was helping hold a beam that was like 500lbs. A guy was hammering it into another large beam. Long story short-when the guy hammered the beam it came flying into Brett's face and the other beam landed on his head and then shoulder. The picture gives a glimpse of the damage done (it got WAY black and blue and he still has a scar in between his eyes). Well, Tavin thought he would follow in his daddy's footsteps and took a spill on the cement that same day. People probably wondered about the woman in these boys lives.
My injured boys enjoying some quality snuggle time. Tavin was also recovering from strep, followed by a heinous bumb rash (typical after being on Amoxicillin), and then Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease. Poor guy! He's on the up and ups now!

It's weird that you say Tavin had that rash from amoxicilin because my sister's little boy has that right now! He was taking amox. for a throat infection and got the heinous rash you speak of, but now it has gone a step further and his face, hands and feet are swollen, and his joints are purple and bruising and achey. He looks awful and they say it just has to run ints course. Bum deal. I am glad Tavin is better. I hope my nephew is soon!

Tavin's spread all down his legs and on his chest, but honestly his bumb was out of control. He wouldn't even sit down for like 2 or 3 days. Tell your sis good luck. It's so sad!

I am glad Tavin is healing, sorry to hear about brett too! I am not bored by your blog at all, I think it is great just to be able to see what you are doing day to day. I want to come play on the beach, that is one of Ayda's favorite thinks!
Too bad they had to hurt themselves to get such a cute picture.
Poor Tavin. My kids have never had anything that bad.
Tavin is seriously the cutest. He is a perfect mix of you and your hubby. I love that he is always smiling.
