FUN IN THE SUN!

For those of you who thought it would be fun for me to start a blog...just know you are going to be bored! I am really just looking at it like a journal for Tavin right now, which is super fun to me, but probably not for those reading. You can only hear so much about someone else's kid! Read on if you must...

We have been having a ton of fun in the sun this past week! The weather has been so nice and a couple of days it was REALLY hot! We've been spending a lot of time by the pool and at the beach. Brett has Friday's off and so we went to my family's favorite spot-Crescent Bay at Laguna Beach. My friend Katie once wrote on her blog about a day with her kiddos that she never wanted to end. That's exactly how I felt Friday. It was the most perfect day!

Tavin loved climbing on the rocks with daddy (who he calls "mama" right now...even though he knows the difference between Nana and Papa and used to call Brett "dada"). Pretty soon thought he could do it himself.

He wore himself out so much that he even took a nap on the beach. As he slept a huge school of dolphins swam and jumped around in the little cove. It was BEAUTIFUL!

To end the day (and stay out of traffic) we went and ate at BJ's. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE BJ's, esp. their yummy Pizookies!

Tavin likes Pizookies too, but not as much as he likes to perform for anyone willing to watch. His "new thing" is to fake yawn. I was dying laughing (as were a couple he was showing off for) and so excited as I finally captured it in a picture.

P.S. I am getting so frustrated by this layout business. When I preview the posting I am typing it looks totally different then what really shows up when I publish it. Notice all the spaces between pics and text. HELP!

Sounds like the perfect day! I love that Tavin does fake yawns... cute!

About the layout... I usually post it and look to see what it looks like. Then I go back and changed it if I need to. Kinda annoying.

Don't you love days like that? I really miss So Cal. I would love to take my kids on a beach adventure. The gulf of Mexico doesn't count.

Parker has the same rash guard.

Try clicking on 'no layout' when you are placing pictures. Maybe that will work maybe not. I think it is so frustrating too. Good luck. Also, you mentioned you were worried about security. Check out sitemeter.com or feedjit.com
