your family is on a walk and you hear a megaphone, from the fields right behind your house, announcing,
"We are not immigration. Please come out immediately. We are going to burn the fields and do not want to harm anyone. We are not immigration."
Then the announcement is repeated in Spanish.
This went on for at least an hour... well, until the fields were surrounded by Border Patrol.

I don't really know how to respond to a blog comment!! But, yes, they LOVED the potato head thingies. I had to cut little holes in the pumpkin so they could push them in, it was easy. Also, I got the house at Target!

yep, I can relate...we used to live in a border town too (El Centro, California). Crazy, huh?
