Forgotten Post

Before I completely forget, I want to post some pictures from when my bestest sister, Rachel, her hubby Brian, and their new little girl, Julia, came to visit. Instead of going to Florida for Julia's baby blessing, they came out here so our whole family and Brian's family could be there. Brian then had to head back for school, but Rach was able to stay longer. It was so much fun to see Rachel as a mother. It's crazy to see that change in your little sister. I can't wait to see them for Jeff's wedding!

Julia, Christi, Natalie (future sister-in-law), mom, Grandma Eynon, Rach, and me

Julia wore the dress Rachel was blessed in.

Most of the fam...minus my wonderful husband who took my kids home for a nap and my brother-in-law, Randy who was at home with my sick niece, MaKayla.

Not only did my family come in town to visit, but Brett's sister Rhiannon, her husband, Tyler, and their 3 1/2 kiddos came for a fun filled few days. We packed as much in as we possibly could and I was SOOOOO impressed with Rhi who was 7+ months pregnant.
The first day we spent at the San Diego Zoo. I forgot my camera that day and still need to get pics from Rhi. The kids got in free and loved every minute of it, esp. the elephants.
The next day we went to Newport Beach. It was a little cold, but since the Patrick's are from Rexburg, they didn't mind.
Brett, Kirra, Rhiannon, and Brinley

Madison, Alexis, and Tyler in the freezing cold water!

That night my parents invited us up for Family Home Evening. We realized that ALL of Tavin and Kirra's cousins, on both sides, were there. Notice that Tavin is the ONLY boy. Two more cousins are on there way and he is still the only boy.

It was hard to get all the kids to look forward, let alone sit still or smile.

The third day we spent the entire day at Disneyland. This was the only day Brett couldn't be with us. This was the Patrick's first time EVER (minus Ty) to Disneyland so we had to get in as many rides as possible! Unfortunately Indiana Jones was closed. It was so fun to watch their excitement...it makes all the lines and crowds totally worth it. By the end of the day I thought Rhi was going to go into labor for sure with all she had done and how long she had been on her feet. She was a trooper!

Tavin's favorite ride.

Please don't mind my most annoying voice in this video.

On the last day before they headed home we spent a couple hours swimming at my mom and dad's. We were so sad to see them go. When they left, Tavin layed by the front door crying for them to come back. The girls were so good to my kids, esp. Madison, who is a great little mom. I asked the girls what their favorite part of the trip was or what they wish they could do again and they said, "All of it!"
I told Brett when we moved to Texas, "Who's going to come visit us now?" : ) Maybe some day we'll get back to California and have lots more family visits because we sure do love them!!!
