Kirra's Blessing Day

We blessed Kirra Rae on Sun., Sept. 7th. It was a really wonderful day and it was nice to have our friends and family there with us since we gave them such short notice. We know all of our family would have loved to come, but we are so grateful for your support. Kirra slept right through her blessing so that was great!

She is crying in all the pictures because it was time to eat.

Kirra was blessed in a dress my mom made using pieces of my sister Julia's blessing dress. Julia was the 2nd oldest in our family and she passed away when she was 4. Julia's dress was eaten by moths, so my mom did her best to salvage all she could. The 2nd oldest girl in each of my siblings families will be blessed in this dress. My niece MaKayla was already blessed in it.
