Being laid up made it kind of hard to make Brett's birthday a really great one, but we tried. My parents and brother were out of town so Olivia (10) and Hunting (9) Tanner came over to help me with Tavin for the day while Brett worked. With their help we did manage to decorate, hand paint a Happy Birtday sign, and make cupcakes. Tavin had to get the Backyardigan party hats too. He's obsessed! Some friends in the Young Women Presidency with me were so kind to bring in dinner for us, which was the best birthday dinner he could ask for...Tri-tip. To top it all off they went above and beyond with some homemade peach cobbler and yummy vanilla ice cream.

Happy Birthday Hunnie!
Well, that wasn't all to Brett's bday. With my parents help, we threw Brett a semi-surprise BBQ the following Wednesday. I wasn't trying to make it a surprise...I just didn't tell Brett about it. After his softball game on Wed. a bunch of friends came over, swam, played volleyball, and had dinner and bday cake with us. It really was a ton of fun!

Happy Birthday Brett!
I am glad it was a good day, are you on bed rest?? If so please take care of yourself and that sweet baby!
I've been thinking about you...I hope your hanging in there the next few days. The last two weeks is always the worst. I hope for your sake you go into labor early. The third pregnancy was my most uncomfortable by far...but I felt like a pro through labor and delivery. Good luck. I hope your back is better by then.
Plus you're insane for trying that air chair while pregnant.
only 6 more days!!!
Congratulations on my new great granddaughter. SHE IS BEAUTIFUL like her big brother, Dad and Mother. Melissa, you are amazing!!!I hope I get to see her one of these days real soon. Long way from TN to CA..as we all know. Brett I didn't realize you were 29. You still seem like a baby to your old grandmother to this day. I love all of you so very much.
