I was able to spend 3 1/2 weeks out in California and Brett came out for 4 days. Traveling 8 months pregnant with a 3 and 2 year old couldn't have gone any better, even with 13 hour travel days. They were ANGELS!!! On the way home I even told them it was time to take a nap, put their headphones on with their sleepy music, and they were out.
It was seriously such a nice and relaxing break spent with my favorite people on earth. I got my video camera out quite a bit, but took hardly any pictures!

Christmas Eve we spent at our family friends, the Chacon's, eating yummy tamales and singing! Julia and Kirra wore their "Who needs Santa when you have Grandma" shirts. Getting them to both look at the camera at the same time was impossible!!!
When the kiddos were finally in bed, the adults played Christmas Minute to Win It games. I can't remember when I've laughed so hard in all my life!!!! You should see my dad play "Jingle in the trunk."
Christmas morning is so much more fun with kids! We opened stockings, then dressed up and acted out the nativity, and then took turns unwrapping lots of presents. My kids were spoiled rotten by all sets of grandparents!!!
Santa brought Tavin and Kirra hampers full of dress up clothes.

New Year's was a blast too. Since we had so much fun Christmas Eve playing Minute to Win It, we had a Minute to Win It New Year's Eve Party. My parents have the coolest friends, and again, we laughed the entire night!!!!
HIGHLIGHTS:
We ate some DELICIOUS meals
Saw a few movies
Played with cousins and visited with friends we miss so much
Finally felt cooler weather (Mexas is hot!) and watched it rain, and rain, and rain
Went to the temple
Played outside, bug free, every chance we got
Celebrated Auntie Natalie, Uncle Randy, and Tav's birthdays
Played games, but not often enough
Got a pedicure
SPENT QUALITY TIME WITH THE BEST FAMILY EVER!!!!!

It's great that you were able to be with your family. That is the best. We'll be excited to hear where your parents are called to serve.
How fun for you to all be together! We probably won't be until Rachelle gets married... who knows when that could be!

Oh man, I wish I could have been there! I meant to call your family over Christmas so that I could talk to you all at once, but I failed. I'm glad you all had such a good time!
