Just because I'm Mormon doesn't mean I have to...

cheer for BYU. GO LAMANITES!

That was the best shirt we saw at the FSU vs. BYU game!!!!

Brett's family has been talking about going to the FSU vs. BYU game for over 2 years now. Half of Brett's family lives in Florida and the other half lives out West.

So Thursday, Sept. 16th we packed our car and started our 19 hour drive to Tallahassee. The kids did amazing, even though the "froggy potty," full of an occasional pee, had to accompany us in the car because Kirra was still potty training.

We made it there late Friday night and hit up down town to take part in all the pre-game festivities.

The game was in the afternoon on Saturday on what felt like the hottest day of my life!
I HAVE NEVER SWEAT SO MUCH IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!!!!

I had to represent for my alma mater, but Brett is an FSU fan. So we split the family right down the middle. (Can you tell I get a pregnancy mask REALLY bad!??)

Here's a fun shot of the fam at the game.

I love this pic because you can see Brett's brother, Chase really good in it. Brett's family is part Navajo and runs a Navajo Trading Post in New Mexico. Thanks to Bob French's Navajo Rugs, Chase is a HIT at FSU. Luckily this week he spared us the loin cloth he usually wears.

We had the best time ever thanks to Cindel and Matt. They bunked all of us in their 2 bedroom house (thanks everyone for letting my little fam have the 2nd bedroom), fed us, and showed us all around beautiful Tallahassee. Two highlights for me, now that I am no longer nauseous, were eating at the best BBQ joint I have ever tried and at the crepe restaurant Chase works at. Mmmm! Mmmm! Good!

We also got a mini tour of some of the campus before Brett was thrown into the Westcott Fountain. It's been said that you’re not truly a Florida State student (or fan, I guess) until you have been thrown into the Westcott fountain.

Brett's mom and 5 of his 6 siblings (+spouces) were able to be there. (We missed you Lindsay and Bryan!)

Trip to Tallahassee = PRICELESS

What a fun time! I love that you split the family... half in FSU half in BYU... that's what it was like for us when BYU played OU last year.
