Mother of 5

Last week I played mother of 5 for 3 days and 2 nights.

I got a ton of stares, comments, and finger pointing because people thought they were all mine.

I drove a mini-van. (I seriously can't wait to get one. I loved it.)

I'm pretty sure I did not sit down once in 3 days!!!

The bathtub had way too many bodies in it each night, but they had so much fun! (Except when Kirra pooped.)

I had an 8 year old and 6 year old who were ANGELS!
-All 3 carseats were always buckled and unbuckled for me.
-They made the beds.
-The 3 kids 3 and under were always entertained.
-They had quiet time while the younger ones napped.

What we did:
*Had a bunch of laughs feeding the ducks at the duck park.
*Grocery shopped. (Yes, with all 5 in tote.)
*Watched The Other Side of Heaven for a movie night with the older girls.
*Partied it up at Chuck E Cheese.

*5 children took their turns washing and vaccuuming the mini-van after a LONG move by the Cardon family from California to Texas. (That was entertaining!)
*Swam our hearts out at our community pool/party and went down the waterslides too many times to count.
*Had a dinner picnic in the backyard. (Much easier clean-up.)

We seriously had a blast!!!
Tavin can't wait to see them on Thursday when we go to the Children's Museum.

How fun! Who's kids were they?? What's nice is now their parents owe you. :) You'll have to go vacationing with Brett. That's what C-Jay and I do with some of our friends.
BTW I also read your toilet drinking post. Oh my gosh, I almost died. That's sooooo funny . . . . gross . . . .funny!!

Oh my goodness! You have been one busy momma! Sounds like the older girls helped alot and you had lots of fun together. So are you going to have 5 kids? I think I'm done at 4. So much work... I swear I never sit down until 9 pm most days. Love being a mom, but 5 might send me over the edge! hahaha! Love the pictures. Your little Kirra is a cute girl! BTW got her outfit at Target for $6.30 on clearance! Gotta love Target! :)

Sounds like fun...except the poop in the bathtub part, lol that made me laugh! Around here you would not have even got a second glance toting 5 kids around lol...that's normal!

You did it! You're such a brave and hardworking momma! I bet it was a big help to have the older ones, huh? Uh, did you say you can't wait to get a minivan? Now, Melissa, that's where we draw the line! Personally, I told Dust I would NEVER drive a grocery-getter. NEVER. EVER. (Okay, just don't hold me to that when I have more than one kid....)
