While in Cali...

Tavin, Kirra, and I flew to California on Christmas Day for Jeff's wedding. I was so scared to fly solo with 2 children, but they were really good and many people were VeRy helpful! We lucked out on 3 out of 4 flights and were able to get 3 seats even though we only paid for 2. It worked great that way because then I could strap Kirra in Tavin's carseat.
We had non-stop fun, except for the days we were down sick, but we crammed as much in as possible.
Tavin misses his cousins a TON since we live so far away now. We just couldn't get enough of them while we were there! Uncle Randy was a HUgE hit with Tavin and Uncle Brian was like a surrogate dad/husband if that doesn't sound too weird to say.

Tavin was too afraid to ride Pirates, so we waited outside for everyone.

I had no idea my family was all making dumb faces and I was going to be the only one smiling!



Tavin's 3rd birthday was December 28th. His birthday lasted like 2 weeks. He had Mickey Mouse birthday pancakes, opened some presents, shared a cake with Nana's friend Toni while everyone was decorating for Jeff's wedding, had a bday Pazookie at BJ's during Jeff and Natalie's Rehersal Dinner, and then had a friend party complete with pizza and Lightning McQueen Bday cupcakes on Jan. 5th at Air Kids (a suPeR FuN bounce house).
Although this cake was supposed to be shared, Tavin blew out his candles and then took a huge bite out of the side of the cake. Who does that?

I'm so bummed I didn't take any pictures of all his friends that came or even the cupcakes. Atleast I got it on my video camera.

I wish we were still there!!!!!!

P.S. If you're wondering why my son looks like I beat him up in some of the pictures...it's because I did. Just kidding. Let's just say he thinks he can skateboard.
