I can't believe it...my baby is ONE!!!
For Kirra, being one means:
Taking your first few steps.
Giving kisses on command.
Stealing your brothers toys and screaming when he comes near yours.
Singing, or something that sounds like singing, when others sing.
Loving all dolls.
Constantly fake laughing.
Devouring all fruit off of Papa's trees.
Being weened, but HATING cow milk and finding delight in spiting it out. Oodles of cuddles and hugs.
NO MORE BABY FOOD! Atleast she won't open her mouth for any.
Grooving to every beat.
We had a birthday party for her with my family on Sunday...well, most of my fam. Auntie Rach, Uncle Brian, and Nana were in Florida welcoming baby Julia Leighton Glenn (a whopping 9lbs. 2oz. 23 in. long) into the world.
Way to go Rach!

Kirra got a cute new birthday dress to wear to church, but has a fascination of dropping things from the table onto the floor lately...including birthday presents.
She didn't really get the whole unwrapping part of presents, so Tav-Man did it for her. She loved her doll, but esp. loves the stroller Nana and Papa gave her to push her doll. She finally got her own bike too, but Tavin likes to think it's his.
Kirra loved her cake and Papa's homemade strawberry icecream. I decided to make a sand castle cake since Kirra loves the beach, but more importantly, lllllloooovvvees to eat the sand.

I can't believe how big she is either! I saw her as a newborn, then at 3 months, and now just before 1! She is so cute and so cuddly! I miss that girl! Happy Birthday!
Time sure does fly! I can't believe that my baby is 3 months old already. It looks like she had a great day.
I didn't realize she was already 1!! Holy freakin' cow! I remember meeting you at the park when she was just a few weeks old! She's so cute! And good job on the bday cake!!

Hi Melissa - I just found your blog, was it private before? I loved getting caught up with you, and it looks like our blog was already on your friend list so you are caught up on us. Your kids are so adorable and congrats to Brett and his job opportunity. That is always a big relief when they find something stable. Just seeing pictures of you guys makes me miss you. I remember all the good talks we had and now look at us 3 years later. Now I will add you to my list and keep in touch better. Kandice
