Brett's hard work and persistence has paid off. He has officially been hired by The Ensign Group (http://ensigngroup.net/). Basically he will run and manage a long-term care facility. It's a GREAT job and a GREAT company! He starts Feb. 1st. He will train at a facility in Whittier, CA for 6 months and then he will get his own facility. We are SOOOOOO excited!
To celebrate we decided - well, I decided :) - to go to Olive Garden on Saturday with my parents, my sister and brother-in-law, and kiddos. It was an hour and 45 minute wait there and at a couple other restaurants we tried and we were too hungry. We settled for the way overpriced, Hot Dog on a Stick. Now that's a celebration dinner!

That is SO great! Congratulations to all of you...way to go, Brett. I know it probably felt like the time would never come, but look! It did...what an example you are of hard work and persistence, as you wife said. Good luck to all of you. In our current economy, this is probably doubly wonderful.

Wow! I am way behind on your blog. That is so exciting. I bet you are so happy. Tell him Congrats for him. I am so glad that things are working out for you. Tell Rachel Congrats as well that is very exciting. Too bad she couldn't be with you guys for Christmas. Sorry I didn't get to spend more time with you while I was there. Hopefully you guys will still be around the next time I am home.
HEY!! So glad to see you have a blog! Now we can still be friends even though we aren't in the same ward anymore! We miss you guys and need to have you over for dinner! It's been really hot lately, so maybe we can go to the beach and then come back to our place for dinner and games?! Let me know! Love the blog and your little ones!

Congrats Brett!! Now you have to be an adult and join the workforce! Sorry to break it to you. At least you can come home to a wonderful family and hopefully that will get you through your day.
