2008 was the best year yet! It's been a year filled with family, family, friends, and more family. We’ve enjoyed every second and are so grateful for the blessings you all are in our lives. Here are a few of the highlights:
Best New Thing: Of course that goes to Kirra Rae for 2008.
Funniest Moment: Airchairing at 8 months pregnant or having to try to pee in a diaper (long story) when I threw my back out the next day. (Airchairing and herniated disc had no connection!)
Something I learned: How to blog.
Biggest Accomplishment: Becoming parents of 3. Brett finishing his Bachelor’s Degree. He’s only been one class shy for the last 6 years…calculus. Well, he’s done!
Something I Enjoyed: Each and every day Tavin and I we were able to spend at the beach or in the pool. Seeing my brother Jeff for the first time in 2 years. Watching two sisters, Lindsay (and her main man Brian) and Cindel (and her main man Matt), be sealed for time and all eternity in the temple. Meeting our new niece/cousin Brinley. Visiting New Mexico, Florida, and Lake Powell.
Coolest Perk: Living rent free. We’ll leave soon mom and dad. :)
Something Rediscovered: I have more patience than I thought.
Person I couldn't have gone through the year without: I could name so many people! Instead I’ll just name two. I could not imagine this year without Brett! When he was in Utah for 6 weeks to finish his Calculus class it made me re-realize just how lucky I truly am! He’s an amazing husband, father, example, and friend. Second, is my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful He hears and answers our prayers, that He came to this earth to live a life I can only hope to emulate, that He hung on a cross for me so that I can repent of my shortcomings, and that He lives and I too can live with Him again someday!
